S.U.B, Shoulder Utility, Medium
Current production colors: Black, Med Navy and Charcoal.
Dimension: 9.25"W x 11"L x 4"D
The Sneaky Bags shoulder mounted utility bag was designed at the requests of armed professionals who required the ability to carry a fighting loadout for their primary weapons that was optimized not only for secure and unobtrusive carriage but would also allow them to fight from the bag, conducting loading and stowage of magazines and other items while the bag was still worn on the body.
The interior of the bag's main compartment is covered in PALS/VELCRO letting operators organize as they see fit. When loaded rifle magazines or a weapon system is placed on the central PALS/VELCRO field, the main weight in the bag is stored close to the operator's center of gravity, minimizing any flopping around and the need to fight with the bag when inserting and retrieving items. The main interior opening of the bag is re-enforced with HDPE plastic to alleviate the tendency of soft bags that collapse in on themselves. It makes it super easy to retrieve items from the bag without looking or fumbling during moments where time is of the essence such as re-loading a weapon or getting at that important piece of kit.
Outward of the main compartment is a "Dump Pouch" style pocket with a collar that makes it easy to shove things like expended magazines or evidence inside the bag without worry that it will come out under vigorous movement while the main flap of the bag is open.
Attached to the outermost portion of the "Dump Pouch" is a quick access Tool/Medical pocket which has strips of elastic webbing to further organize medical supplies like tourniquets or pistol magazines, multitools and flashlights.
There is a 4" x 2.5" patch of loop velcro on the flap of the Tool/Medical pocket which can be used to affix identity badges for your agency. If you are fighting with the main flap of the bag open, and an identity patch is affixed in this manner, you can clearly see the patch which could greatly assist in scenarios where mistaken identity would be a no-go. All of these features are neatly concealed under the oversized main flap of the bag when not in use, giving the appearence of a camera or other small utility bag (Man Purse).
The sides of the bag also have 8 x 2 Rows and colums of "UNMOLLE" webbing to attach other items and due to the design of the main flap of the bag, these side UNMOLLE rows are partially obscured while the bag is in use to faclitate a more discreet appearence to bystandars.
The Sneakybag also has four 1" common attachment loops to allow you to attach one or more of the included "Utilitor" stabilizer straps to keep the bag even more stable in vigorous movement and allow carriage as an improvised waist bag or other unconventional carry methods.
We have reports of operators using the Sneakybag in 3-gun matches to manage all the assorted ammunition while keeping it close at hand and quickly accessable for loading and unloading. In practice, some have said they can exceed the speed they would get while using more traditional chest rig type platforms because the ammunition is placed in a more natural position on the hip where hands find it easier to manipulate things. It also frees up the upper chest area of users and does not cause interference with slings or other weapon mounted accssories.
Plus it has a bombproof carying handle should you choose to detach the shoulderstrap and carry it by hand only when not using it as a "Fighting bag"
It reminds us of a modern rendition of the old mountain mens "Possibles" bag or the bag that musket soldiers would carry with ball, powder, patches and flints. The old, reimagined and made new.
A very versitile bag that gets a lot of "Off Label" uses.
One gentleman even said he uses it to organize his fly fishing kit while he is wading through the streams.
Options for the SUB:
A velcro backed "Universal Mag/Tool Insert" that can be used to organize magazines of several sizes (AR,AK,FAL,SR25 Ect) or is also useful to end the tangle of cords and power converters found with modern electronics.
